Nirbhay Narang

Nirbhay Singh Narang is a junior for the '23-'24 school year. His interests lie in designing robust end-to-end software systems with experience in aspects of both frontend and backend development. Outside of coursework, he is part of a software-based project team and research on campus.

Eddie Hew

Eddie Hew is an Information Science Major in the College of Arts and Sciences. His main interests are front-end, databases, and UI and UX design.

Miyuki Goay

Sean Henretta

Sean Henretta was a software development co-op at the Roper Center for spring and summer 2021. Anjuli Smith

Anjuli Smith was a software development co-op over the spring 2019 semester when she was in her third year at Cornell in the College of Engineering. Anjuli updated the API call structure for the Roper Partner Search application. She was also active in on-campus research and in the Less Than Three a cappella group. Emily Ablin

Our Co-Op students usually have at least two years of undergraduate work in Computer Science or related field, and experience working in Java and a strong understanding of Object-Oriented concepts. They work with relational databases like PostgreSQL. We rely on their experiences building web applications and their knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

We try to enable our Co-Op students to work as independently as they like. We try not to be prescriptive, just set up a few guard rails and let them be creative within those guidelines. And with the current pandemic, we're all working remotely, like so many others.

Our Co-Op students have gone on to work at some of the most exciting companies in the world, including Amazon, Slack, and Chewy.
