New to the Archive: HSPH/RWJF Subethnicities Survey 2007

The Harvard School of Public Health/Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Subethnicities Survey 2007 covered public health topics and featured an unusual sample of the many diverse ethnicities of origin in the United States. The sample included 1,067 Hispanic respondents, including 100 Cubans and 100 Puerto Ricans; 1,001 non-Hispanic whites; 1100 non-Hispanic blacks, including 100 African respondents and 103 Caribbean respondents; 102 Native Americans, and 1064 non-Hispanic Asians, including 101 Japanese respondents. Respondents were asked about the causes of childhood obesity, their experiences with the healthcare system, quality of their medical care, health insurance status, and more.
