Roper Center will be moving its base of operations

March 19, 2015
This year the Roper Center will be moving its base of operations from the University of Connecticut, where it has resided for the past 37 years. The Roper Center Board of Directors is currently reviewing a number of excellent proposals for a new partnership committed to continuing the Center's core mission of preserving, curating, growing and disseminating its holdings; carefully documenting datasets using the best archival and industry standards; maintaining its data in current, easily accessible formats; and facilitating the use of its data in research, discourse and understanding of public attitudes in the United States and internationally. An announcement of the Center's new institutional affiliation is expected in August, and the transition to the new location should be complete by the end of year. No gaps in service of any kind are expected during this time period.
