The Franklin & Marshall College Center for Opinion Research is a full-scale survey research organization that provides services to nonprofit groups, community organizations and partnerships, government agencies, healthcare advocacy organizations, hospitals and health systems, educational institutions, private corporations, and the media. The Center's expertise covers a wide range of areas, including community services, communications and media campaigns, public policy, environmental issues, healthcare, public policy, and voting behavior. The Centers' staff offers informed and thoughtful opinions about what survey results mean, guiding clients as they use the information to answer important questions and make strategic decisions.
The Center also produces the Franklin & Marshall College Poll, which is the oldest statewide public opinion poll exclusively directed and produced in Pennsylvania. As a department of the college, the Center is both non-profit and non-partisan. The Center is unique in Pennsylvania, since it is a full-scale survey research organization situated within a liberal arts college. Over the years, the Center has become widely known for providing perceptive survey design and insightful, in-depth data analysis to those involved in public policy, government, healthcare, and nonprofit work. Our research has been used by decision makers, in local, regional, and state level organizations, to create policy, inform the citizenry, and make positive changes in areas as varied as media campaigns, healthcare, education, government, and community services.
