National Partnership for Women & Families

The National Partnership for Women & Families is a non-profit, non-partisan advocacy organization founded in 1971 working to improve the lives of women and families by achieving equality and equity for all women.

We ground ourselves in the lived experience of women and families, particularly those who face the greatest barriers to equity and opportunity. We accomplish our work through advocacy in both the public and private sectors and at the federal, state, and local levels. Our strategies include policy research and analysis; technical assistance to policymakers, media, and allies; leadership and participation in diverse coalitions and stakeholder relationships; public education, and public engagement. In all of our work, we seek to amplify the leadership of grassroots groups and women of color who are fighting for social justice.
