Since 1985, NBC and Wall Street Journal have been conducting polls of US adults on issues in the news, with a particular emphasis on economic topics. Nearly 250 datasets from 1985 to 2012 are available for analysis, with new additions made regularly to the over 20,000 questions in iPOLL. Topics covered include elections, ratings of political leaders, satisfaction with the economy, approval of Congress, taxation, labor, and foreign affairs. Fieldwork for the NBC/Wall Street Journal Poll has been conducted by Hart Research Associates/Hart and Teeter Research Companies, Public Opinion Strategies.
