Each year the Roper Center funds two fellows, the Mitofsky Fellow Graduate Assistantship and the Andrew Kohut Fellowship. Students enrolled at Cornell are encouraged to apply.

The Mitofsky Fellow Graduate Assistantship is open to graduate students and honors the memory of Warren J. Mitofsky. Read more about Warren and his work. Mitofsky Fellows develop their knowledge of public opinion research by working at the Roper Center on special projects. They receive tuition, a stipend, and health insurance.

The Kohut Fellowship is open to undergraduate and graduate students and honors the memory of Andrew Kohut and his numerous contributions to the science and art of survey research. Read more about Andrew and his work. Kohut Fellows engage in their own original public opinion-focused research project using data from the Roper Center archives. They network with professionals in the field, learn about the methods and techniques of survey research and design, and participate in Roper Center projects.
